Appraisal Services

Personal Property Appraisals assesses the value of individual items, an entire collection or estate which includes paintings, prints, sculpture, antique and contemporary furniture, silver, porcelain, pottery, glass, textiles, Asian objects and collectibles.  

Each article is carefully examined to determine country of origin, age, condition and value and a comprehensive final written report is completed. Values are determined by a review of past and current market conditions through comparable sales at galleries, auction houses or other secondary markets.

Each appraisal is conducted in strict confidence and all appraisal reports conform to The Appraisal Foundation’s Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and the Code of Ethics required by The International Society of Appraisers.

Replacement Value Appraisals

Replacement value appraisals provide a retail replacement value for the purposes of:
